Use this KCE-435iV cable to connect your video iPod to Alpine's IVA-D106 DVD receiver while using the KCE-400BT Bluetooth adapter (not included). The KCE-400BT uses the iPod port, but provides a pass-through connection so you can still use your iPod.

Overview: The Alpine KCE-435iV iPod interface cable allows you to connect select iPods to your Alpine's IVA-D106 DVD receiver while using the Alpine KCE-400BT Bluetooth adapter (sold separately). The KCE-400BT Bluetooth adapter uses the iPod port of the IVA-D106 DVD using an optional KWE-460 interconnection cable (sold separately), and provides a pass-through connection for connecting your iPod via the KCE-435iV.
iPod/iPhone Compatibility: The Alpine KCE-435iV is "Made for iPod" compatible and supports the following iPod model features when connected to the Alpine IVA-D106 (as of Dec. 2009):

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may change functionality results. If you download a newer software version, you may need to reset the headunit and your iPod/iPhone to regain functionality. If this doesn't work, you may need to revert to the older software version or wait until an newer software update is available.
Charging Note: The KCE-435iV and the IVA-D106 will not charge iPod touch (2nd/3rd generation) or iPod Nano (4th/5th generation) without the Alpine KCX-422TR charging adapter (500KCX422T, sold separately).
